SETAGAYA 246 HALF MARATHON / 20th Setagaya 246 Half Marathon / 2025.11.9 SUN / ENTRY 7.1 TUE - 7.31 THU

The Setagaya 246 Half Marathon is
We are moving on to a new stage.

This 21st edition of the race will be the first step in creating a new history while cherishing the legacy of previous events. This year, the Setagaya 246 Half Marathon will be taking on a new challenge as it becomes an officially sanctioned competition of the Japan Para Athletics Federation.
"Driving on Route 246. Setagaya is coming to life."
National Route 246 is a major artery running through Setagaya, a symbolic link connecting people, culture, and the energy of the city. Runners will take on this historic route, challenging their own limits. Each step they take is not merely an individual challenge. It involves the aspirations of many people, including those cheering along the route, volunteers supporting the operation, local shops, and residents, moving the entire town of Setagaya into motion. Setagaya, usually a stage for peaceful living, will become one through the marathon, generating new vitality and connections.

In response to the changing times, we will continue to challenge ourselves with new things and strive to manage the event in a way that makes it a beloved competition for runners and the local community.

We look forward to seeing many of you there.
