Original Dance

Spread out, Setagaya

The Setagaya City Board of Education has developed an original dance to the ward's song, "Oi Setagaya," with the aim of building momentum for the Tokyo 2020 Games. With SAM from TRF as the overall supervisor, they created two versions, "Starter," aimed at toddlers and younger children, and "Basic," aimed at older elementary school students and above, so that anyone can enjoy dancing.

The program is being implemented in all kindergartens, elementary schools and junior high schools, and students will be performing at physical education classes, sports days, shopping district events and other events, experiencing the joy of expression and aiming to create a legacy for Setagaya.

Idi Gymnastics

The Setagaya gymnastics "Idi Gymnastics" is choreographed by the talent Papaya Suzuki to the 21st century Setagaya song "Oi Setagaya."
This exercise incorporates dance rhythms and is designed to be enjoyed by people of all ages, from children to adults, and not just as a warm-up before sports.
For those who are not up for hard exercise, we also have a version with less exercise that can be done while sitting in a chair. Let's all learn it and use it to improve our health!
