The Setagaya Sports Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) recognizes that it is an important social responsibility of the Foundation to comply with relevant laws and regulations and to safely manage personal information entrusted to us by our customers in order to create a society in which people can live healthy and fulfilling lives both physically and mentally through the promotion of sports and recreation. In order to fulfill this responsibility, we have established this Personal Information Protection Policy and will do our utmost to properly manage personal information held by the Foundation.

1. Compliance with laws and regulations

In order to comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other relevant laws and regulations, national guidelines, and other standards regarding the protection of personal information, the Foundation will formulate a personal information protection management system that complies with the Japanese Industrial Standard "Personal Information Protection Management Systems - Requirements" (JIS Q 15001) and will strive to operate it appropriately when handling personal information.

2. Appropriate acquisition and use of personal information

The Foundation will clarify the purpose of collection in advance, obtain the consent of the individual, and then acquire personal information through lawful and fair procedures and use it within the scope of the intended purpose. In addition, we will take measures to ensure that the acquired personal information is not used for any other purpose.

3. Restrictions on providing personal information to third parties

Except as required by law, the Foundation will not provide personal information to third parties without the consent of the individual.

4. Disclosure of personal information to the person concerned

The Foundation will respond without delay to requests from individuals regarding the disclosure, correction, addition, suspension of use, deletion, etc. of their personal information, as well as complaints and inquiries.

5. Appropriate management of personal information

The Foundation will manage the personal information it acquires accurately and safely, and will take measures to prevent and correct loss, damage, falsification, leakage, theft, unauthorized access, etc.

6. Continuous improvement of personal information protection management system

In order to ensure the proper execution of our business and the protection of personal information, our foundation established the Setagaya Sports Foundation Personal Information Protection Regulations and their Enforcement Regulations when we were first established. We will steadily implement these regulations, ensure that our directors and employees are aware of the importance of protecting personal information, and strive to continually review and improve our personal information management system through education and the implementation of appropriate internal audits.
