Purpose of Establishment

The Setagaya Sports Foundation, a public interest incorporated foundation, aims to promote sports and recreational activities for Setagaya residents, as well as to contribute to the creation of a lifelong sports society in which residents can live healthy and fulfilling lives both physically and mentally through sports and recreational activities.

The Setagaya Sports Promotion Foundation aims to realize a "lifelong sports society" in which residents can enjoy sports "anytime," "anywhere," "anyone," and "forever" in places close to them. In cooperation with supporting members and other related organizations, the Foundation works to promote and spread a wide range of sports and recreation by implementing sports and recreation projects that suit the lifestyles of a wide range of residents, from children to the elderly, and by managing and operating social sports facilities as places for improving health and physical fitness.
