Sports promotion committee
The Sports Promotion Committee is commissioned by Setagaya City based on the Basic Act on Sport. They work daily as a disseminator of lifelong sports information and as a coordinator of lifelong sports in the community so that residents of the ward can enjoy lifelong sports activities. Your local Sports Promotion Committee will be happy to answer any questions you may have about sports and recreation.
Comprehensive local sports and cultural clubs
This project is promoted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology through the Japan Sport Association and the Tokyo Sport Association. It is a sports club that is primarily run independently by local residents and is rooted in the local community, with the aim of creating an environment where anyone can enjoy sports on an ongoing basis, anywhere, anytime.
